This Tangle feels fantastic like any other! I bought the green one and the colour and shine are gorgeous in-person. However, within a few weeks of starting to use it, the metallic paint was rubbing off already. After about five months of use, playing with it on average a few times a week with some chunks of not picking it up for a couple weeks, there isn't a single segment where the metallic paint job hasn't rubbed off to show the flat-coloured plastic underneath. I'd say ~95% of the green is still in-tact so it's not like it's all gone, some pieces are only missing a small dot here or there, but 7/18 segments (almost half of them) have very large obvious spots fully rubbed off revealing that the plastic underneath is either plain white or a muddy sweet potato orange colour, depending on the piece. It still feels great to use even in the rubbed off spots but it was disappointing how fast the beautiful colour wore down to nothing.
These are so pretty and they are so smooth. The way they move feels so fluid. I really want more of these!
