Due to allergy concerns, we do not pre-lubricate the rings before shipping. If you'd like your ring to be quiet, you can use oil (e.g. coconut or canola) or silicone lubricant (personal or car).
They are made from tungsten carbide, which is known for its scratch-resistance (it is stronger than metals like gold or silver). Tungsten carbide is also hypoallergenic and suitable for people with metal allergies.
Care Instructions: Tungsten carbide is somewhat brittle. Do not drop the ring and avoid hitting it on things. If the ring gets dirty, wipe it with a clean cloth. If your spinner ring gets squeaky or hard to spin, you may need to clean it with soap and water. To do that, add a little bit of dish soap to water and stir until dissolved and a little bubbly. Put your ring in the water, soak for a few minutes, and then spin back and forth to loosen any dirt that might be trapped in the spinner. If it is squeaky or hard to spin after cleaning, it may need additional lubrication. You can use a silicone lubricant (personal or car), or vegetable oil (coconut or canola oil are good choices).
Note for customers outside of North America: If you are only ordering rings, in order to offer the most cost efficient shipping cost for you, they ship untracked lettermail. If you would like to pay more for tracking, please contact us or leave a note in your order.
